\u201cWe see no reason to continue engaging with corrupt individuals even for a single day. The President has the constitutional power to appoint a new cabinet and secretaries. On the 22nd, our leader Anura Kumara Dissanayake will make the best decision for our country, and we are fully prepared with the necessary arrangements,\u201d Amarasuriya stated.<\/p>\n
She explained that under an NPP-led presidency, the Cabinet and Prime Minister would be immediately dismissed, and that the required legal consultations have already taken place.<\/p>\n
Addressing the media, Amarasuriya dismissed the notion of a caretaker government, describing it as a ploy to create further uncertainty. She criticized Ranil Wickremesinghe\u2019s presidential campaign, accusing it of sowing confusion.<\/p>\n
