According to the information received from the Army Intelligence Division to the officers of Special Task Force Jaffna Camp,on the instructions of commandant STF DIG atorny at low Mr Waruna jayasundara and under the guidance of Asp Mr. Nishantha , the commanding officers of Special Task Force Jaffna Camp, Chief Inspector Mandis,and the combat motorcycle team, On (23) conducted a raid at the Madagall East Coast Screen in the Ilawale Police Domain.
There, 95.691 kg of Kerala ganja was found in a boat with an engine at around 0330 in the morning without a suspect. The Kerala ganja smuggling that is secretly carried out by boats from India from time to time was arrested by the Police Special Task Force with the cooperation of the Army Intelligence Division. It has been handed over to the Ilawale Police Station for further investigation.
