Sagala Ratnayake, Chief of Staff and Senior Advisor to the President on National Security, met with Tubagus Feridhanusetyawan, the outgoing IMF Resident Representative for Sri Lanka, and Sarwat Jahan, the incoming IMF Resident Representative, at the Presidential Secretariat yesterday, October 27.
The IMF team met with Ratnayake and discussed previous action and debt restructuring.
Ratnayake promised the IMF team that he would inform President Ranil Wickremesinghe of the meeting’s discussions and obtain his opinion.
