General Shavendra Silva WWV RWP RSP VSV USP ndc psc MPhil, the Chief of Defence Staff (CDS), met Hon. Premitha Bandara Tennakoon, the State Minister of Defence on 02 November 2022 at his office.
CDS visited the office of State Minister of Defence and exchanged thoughts that would enhance the security and related concerns. The State Minister also expressed thoughts and conveyed his gratitude to General Shavendra Silva for the commitment and dedication as the previous Commander of the Army and the present Chief of Defence Staff whilst requesting the same to effectively address the contemporary challenges.
The meeting culminated with presenting a memento to the State Minister.
