On the concept of the General Officer Commanding 22 Infantry Division, Major General Saliya Amunugama and under the guidelines and supervision of Commander 222 Infantry Brigade, Brigadier Saliya Dias and Commanding Officer 5 (v) Sri Lanka Artillery Lt Col Priyantha Wekadapola & Commanding Officer ( Over Look) 24 th Bn Vijayabha Infantry Regiment Major Rosan Arawwala organized a donation programme to donate artificial limbs, conducting mobile health camp services and providing free spectacles for law income families collaboration with Colombo Friend in Need Society .on 29 April 2023.
The event was graced by General Officer Commanding 22 Infantry Division, Major General Saliya Amunugama as the chief guest and held at Verugal divisional secretariat auditorium
Donated 27 artificial limbs for 26 male persons, conducting diabetic clinic for 100 persons (male 47 and female 53) and providing free spectacles for 252 (male 108 and female 144) by consisting with Sinhala,Tamil and Muslim low income families in Brigade AOR.
