DE ALWIS – SITA PATRICIA (nee DHARMASENA) – (Lion MJF). Beloved wife of the late R.L. De Alwis, loving daughter of the late Grace and S.A. Dharmasena, devoted mother of Maya, Ken & the late Guy, mother-in-law of Chandima & Sandamali, doting grandmother of Vihan, Vitini & Tarini, passed away peacefully and as per the wishes of her family, a private funeral was held.
Dr ANTON NAVARATNAM, Beloved husband of Norah (nee Dharmarajah), loving father of Niranjan and Romesh, father-in-law of Marylou and Penny, grandfather of Anila, Aari and Ava, brother of late Leela Viswasam and late Chelvathy Joseph. Remains will lie at A.F. Raymond’s Funeral Parlour on Friday, 16th August from 4.00 p.m. to 8.30 p.m. Service at the Parlour on Saturday, 17th August at 11.00 a.m. followed by Cremation at General Cemetery, Borella (Old Crematorium) at 12.00 noon. (Devi Balika Vidyalaya entrance).
Prof. ROHAN ALOYSIUS – Dearly beloved son of the late Dr Dennis Aloysius and Chrissie Aloysius, loving brother of Rohini Garrett, Ranjini Fernando, Ranee Fernando and the late Ruvani Aloysius, much loved uncle of Angelo, Romano, the late Roshika, Ashan, Cherani, Rashini, Tiyani & Ravin, passed away peacefully on the 8th of August. His last rites were performed according to his wishes on the 9th of August.
SENEVIRATNE, LIONEL J. – (Retired Chief Engineer Bank of Ceylon (Head Office)), beloved husband of Dr Premalatha Seneviratne, beloved father of Yasoja, father-in-law of Sumedha Perera, grandfather of Maya, brother of late Gertude de Livera and late Conrad Seneviratne, passed away peacefully on the 13th of August 2024. Cortege leaves residence No. 4, Terrence Ave., Mount Lavinia on the 15th August 2024 at 4.30 p.m. for Cremation at Mount Lavinia General Cemetery (Nisala Sevana).
