Colombo, November 30 – The Ministry of Energy has announced a revision of fuel prices, effective from midnight tonight. The adjustments affect several fuel categories, with some witnessing reductions, while others experience price hikes.
Revised Fuel Prices:
- 92 Octane Petrol: The price per liter has been reduced by Rs. 2, bringing it down to Rs. 309 from the previous Rs. 311.
- 95 Octane Petrol: The price remains unchanged at Rs. 371 per liter.
- Lanka White Diesel: The price per liter has been increased by Rs. 3, setting the new price at Rs. 286.
- Lanka Super Diesel: The price remains steady at Rs. 313 per liter.
- Lanka Kerosene: The price per liter has been increased by Rs. 5, making the new price Rs. 188.
This adjustment comes as part of the government’s regular fuel price review mechanism, taking into account global market trends and domestic economic factors.
