Role Details — What You’ll Do and Who Should Apply

Office Manager

You’ll be the operations champion—organizing schedules, streamlining HR processes, and serving as the backbone of the Centre’s daily workflow. Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in Management or HR, have at least five years’ experience in human resource management, and are fluent in English and Sinhala or Tamil. If you’re between ages 25 and 45, you’re in the age bracket they’re seeking. Compensation starts at LKR 75,000 plus cost-of-living and allowances, plus EPF/ETF.

Finance Manager

Calling all number-lovers: this role puts you in charge of financial systems, budgeting, compliance, and audit preparations. Requirements include a Bachelor’s (or equivalent) in Finance, a minimum of five years in a finance officer position, and age 25-45. You’ll earn about LKR 85,000 per month with allowances and EPF/ETF.

Project Manager

Love strategy, planning, and execution? This one’s for you. You’ll lead human rights projects—drafting proposals, liaising with donors, preparing budgets, and delivering impact. Candidates should have a Bachelor’s in Law or Social Sciences, plus a Master’s (with research); at least five years leading projects; and a track record of publications. The Centre will offer LKR 100,000 monthly, plus extras and EPF/ETF.

IT/Communications Executive

Be the tech and communications guru. You’ll manage websites, e-learning platforms like LMS, and the Centre’s virtual outreach. A Bachelor’s in IT (or similar), four years in e-learning or web administration, and age 25-45 are required. Compensation is LKR 70,000 plus allowances and EPF/ETF.

Project Coordinator

If you’re organized, efficient, and detail-oriented, this role supports the Project Manager—tracking deliverables, coordinating with stakeholders, and ensuring smooth implementation. A Bachelor’s in Law or Social Sciences is required, plus project coordination experience and the 25-45 age range. Salary: LKR 50,000 + allowances.

Course Coordinator

Do you enjoy teaching logistics? As Course Coordinator, you’ll schedule courses, manage materials, communicate with students and faculty, and keep things running. You’ll need a Bachelor’s (or equivalent), three years of coordinating experience, MS Office fluency, and bilingual skills. Age limit applies. You’ll earn around LKR 50,000 + allowances.

Administrative Assistant

This is your chance to support a key academic center. You’ll help with day-to-day office tasks—filing, communications, documentation, and coordination. Requirements: G.C.E. A-Level plus diploma or NVQ, two years admin experience, Microsoft Office skills, and bilingual fluency. The salary is LKR 35,000 plus cost-of-living adjustments and EPF/ETF.
