Colombo District MP Jagath Kumara of the Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) crossed over to the Opposition in Parliament today (03), following a special statement.
On August 29, 2024, MP Jagath Kumara announced his support for Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) presidential candidate and Opposition Leader Sajith Premadasa in the upcoming presidential election.
Jagath Kumara was elected to Parliament in 2020, representing the Colombo District for the SLPP
