The results of the GCE Advanced Level (A/L) Examination 2024 will be released after the Sinhala and Tamil New Year in April, says the Commissioner General of Examinations, Amith Jayasundara. A total of 333,183 candidates sat for the exam, including 253,390 school students and 79,793 private candidates.

In addition to the written tests, practical exams for the Biosystems Technology subject (Code 66) were held from February 8 to 10, 2025.These exams are essential for students aiming for science, agriculture, and technology-related fields.
