Some powerful nations, including those from the region, are aiming for a weak government in Sri Lanka to serve their interests, MP Rajitha Senaratne stated today.
Dr. Senaratne, speaking at a media conference, explained that these countries prefer a government in Sri Lanka that is dependent on them. He added that a weak government would allow these nations to more easily extract what they want from Sri Lanka.
